Our Equipment (we welcome all donations!!):

HF (High Frequency/Shortwave, 1.8-30 MHz):

• Yaesu FTDX101MP (All-mode HF/ 6 meter rig, our primary HF rig)
• Yaesu FT-990 (Mostly used for portable operations)

HF Antennas:

• 7-element multiband Yagi for 10,15, and 20m bands. Mounted on a crank-up tower atop EB2. Rotator control: ARCO microHAM
• WARC/80/40m trap dipole, inverted V configuration. Feedpoint attached to crank-up tower, about 30 feet above the roof.

VHF/UHF (50-450 MHz):

• Yaesu FT-221 2m all-mode running 25 watts. (Not functional)
• Icom IC-551 6m all-mode running 20 watts. (Not functional)
• Yaesu FTM500D FM for 2m/70cm repeaters and line-of-sight simplex.
• Icom IC-9700 all-mode, used for satellite work and moonbounce.

VHF/UHF Antennas:

• Diamond X-500HNA vertical for 2m/440 FM
• 2m/70cm eggbeater omnidirectional satellite antennas

Packet: (Computers “talking” via radios)

• Yaesu FTDX101MP interfaced with one of our shack computers

CW (Morse Code) Keys:

• Bencher RJ-1 straight key
• Hi-Mound HK103 straight key
• Vibroplex lefty ‘bug’ key
• Vibroplex paddle
