Our NC4SU and W4ATC repeaters are sponsored by the KD4RAA group. The KD4RAA group is a non-club affiliated group of amateurs who sponsor repeater and repeater-associated technical projects including links to the Internet Radio Linking Project (IRLP).

NC4SU, our main repeater is located atop the D.H. Hill Library on the N.C. State campus. This repeater is Internet-linked with IRLP node 4340 and Echolink NC4SU-R. It is also RF linked to the 444.6500+ 100PL KG4EDW repeater in Nash County and to the 443.4500+ 100PL KD4RAA repeater in Alamance County. We can also link this repeater to the Carolina 440 system on demand to extend the coverage. The repeater is located on the NW corner of the D.H. Hill library on the NCSU campus. The antenna is clearly visible from street level.

The KD4RAA repeater is located at the N.C. State fairgrounds and has good coverage to adjacent counties. It is also IRLP linked as node 4260.

This repeater, located at the D.H. Hill library, was once owned by W4ATC but now is maintained by RARS. It has good local coverage on and around the N.C. State campus.

This 900 Mhz test repeater is the first 900 MHz repeater in the area and has similar coverage as the UHF repeaters. This machine is also located atop the D.H. Hill library. This repeater is supported by the KD4RAA repeater group. Read more about the installation here.
